Exhibition DRAWí KRESLIARI in Bratislava
From May 7 to 30, 2026, the Pistori Palace in Bratislava will host the exhibition DRAWí KRESLIARI, which will present drawing as an open and relevant medium in contemporary art. The project will offer a wide spectrum of approaches to drawing—from ideation, sketching, and design, through drawing as an autonomous work of art, to illustration, design, intermedia, conceptual, and experimental approaches. The Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín is also participating in the project. The aim of the project is not only to showcase the artists’ work, but also to create an open platform for discussion, the sharing of experiences, and intergenerational dialogue among established artists, students, and the public. The exhibition responds to the current situation, in which the position of drawing in art education and practice is weakening, and emphasizes its irreplaceable significance as a fundamental and universal means of expression. The DRAWí KRESLIARI project is conceived as an open laboratory—a space for experimentation, the exchange of ideas, and the exploration of new perspectives. At the same time, it supports emerging artists and designers and fosters dialogue among them within the artistic community.
