Zlin Design Week
May 4–11, 2018
The main theme of this year’s 4th Zlin Design Week is PLAY. Everyone who is creating something is in fact playing. Whether it is a designer playing with shape, colour, material, or a marketing communicator playing with words and emotions. Zlín will become alive with design day and night. We can look forward to exhibitions, a gala evening, the Design & Marketing conference, installations inside the traditional KOMA modules, lectures, workshops, excursions and parties. The meaning and magic of Zlin Design Week is primarily the result of the collaboration of students, designers and companies.
Marketing Communications Talent
A unique competition for all talented marketing communicators. How does it work? Just like the Young Lions, it is a two-day event. On the first day, companies present their assignmenta – marketing task – to students. Each student team has 24 hours to deal with it. On the following day, teams present their solutions, receive points and then the MC Talent is announced. The competition brings students closer to real life practice and offers creative marketing solutions to companies, creating a ground for establishing contacts and building relationships.
