This section is devoted to those studying at the FMC TBU who would like to spend part of their studies as exchange students abroad.

The students have a wide range of options and can use various exchange programmes to organize their study stay or practical internship.

The best-known programme of European cooperation in the field of tertiary education providing financial support for stays at foreign partner instituion is ERASMUS+, the main activities of which include study stays and internships of university students lasting from 3 to 12 months.

TBU provides financial support for students wanting to spend their mobility at any foreign institution worldwide outside the range of traditional exchange programmes. Such mobilities are called freemovers.

Other mobility options include student grant programmes offered by the Centre for International Cooperation (DZS), including:

Aktion Czech Republic – Austria – a bilateral programme providing scholarships to individuals (semester-long and short-term research scholarships).

Academic Information Agency (AIA) – organized selection procedures for scholarships for almost 40 countries worldwide, based on bilateral agreements.

CEEPUS – Central European exchange programme between higher education institutions in Central and Southeastern Europe (semestral stays, summer schools and excursions).

EEA and Norway Grants – support for bilateral and multilateral cooperaton between schools in the Czech Republic, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein (mobilities/internships and institutinal cooperation projects).

SCIEX – support for implementation of research goals of Czech dcotoral and post-doctoral students at Swiss institutions.

Fulbright  scholarships for study in the USA – for students in follow-up master’s and doctoral programmes.
