The Fashion Design Studio will once again be showcasing its work at Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week

The FMC TBU Fashion Design Studio will be showcasing its work at Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2027 season. On Sunday 6 September 2026 at 4 pm, three students will present their own original collections at SaSaZu in Prague’s Holešovice district, drawing on personal experience, generational themes and an experimental approach to fashion design.

The studio will be represented by Terezie Kožíková, Zuzana Hliněná and Yauheni Bisiuk. Their collections showcase different ways of thinking about clothing, ranging from explorations of memory and emotions, through the themes of coming of age and uncertainty, to structural and geometric reflections on the relationship between fabric, space and the body.

In her collection, Terezie Kožíková revisits the question of what each generation passes on to the next. Her starting point is childhood memories, nostalgia and five personal artefacts: a duvet, a Granko mug, a sugar cube, a gerbera and a soft toy chick. Through these seemingly ordinary objects, the artist explores the feelings of safety, security and support that endure even into adulthood.

Zuzana Hliněná will present her collection Small Girl in a Big World, which draws on her personal experience of approaching the end of her studies and the uncertainty of entering the professional fashion world. The designer draws on memories of her childhood dolls, translating their outfits and small sewing items to human scale to create a collection that balances children’s imagination and adult reality.

In his Dimensions collection, Yauheni Bisiuk focuses on the geometric essence of clothing. He takes as his starting point the question of whether mathematics merely describes reality, or whether reality itself is mathematically structured. He views clothing as an object created by the transformation of two-dimensional fabric into the three-dimensional space of the human body. The collection thus uses construction, geometry and form as means of exploring the relationship between mathematics, space and the body.

The studio’s participation in Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week SS27 underscores its long-standing commitment to supporting students’ original work and creating opportunities for them to showcase their work professionally on the most prominent Czech fashion platform. The collections on display combine a strong personal vision, an experimental approach and a focus on developing their own creative language.
