Panta Rhei 2026 International Symposium
17. August 2026On Saturday 29 August 2026, the opening of the exhibition for the 18th edition of the Panta Rhei International Art Symposium will take place at the Hvězda Cinema in Uherské Hradiště. The opening begins at 5 pm and will showcase works by artists from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Slovakia.
Over the years, the symposium has established a strong position in the region’s cultural life. The theme is not predetermined – the main source of inspiration is the material itself, which is predominantly waste: wood, metal, plastic or glass from companies operating in the immediate vicinity of Uherské Hradiště.

The exhibition will offer visitors a diverse perspective on contemporary visual art from artists spanning several generations, as well as their approach to materials and space. This year’s participants are: Ute Deutz (DE), Vladimír Kovařík (CZ), Lívia Kožušková (SK), Petr Mana (CZ), Tomasz PIetrek (PL), Marlena Promna (PL), Sabina Psotková (CZ), Jozef Suchoža (SK), Zuzana Škorpíková (CZ), Miroslava Veselá (CZ), Jan Veselský (CZ), Richard Vodička (CZ)
The exhibition is being held in collaboration with the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín and the company Egoé Bílovice.
