Success in the BookVision competition
19. June 2023A student from the Digital Design studio, Klára Daniová, was awarded in the international student competition BookVision, which is organized by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava. The student received an honorable mention for the book Za three weeks good.
The works awarded in the competition can be seen in the Gallery of the Faculty of Arts (GAFU) in Moravská Ostrava until June 23, 2023.
About the BookVision competition
The competition is focused on the collective presentation of author’s books and other artistic book outputs among the rising generation with an international reach. At the same time, it determines in a certain way the author’s book’s topicality and the eventual transition of the medium into the digital sphere. From this point of view, however, within the competition, it appears that the book as a physical object is still the preferred form among the younger generation.
