Elections to the FMC Academic Senate
11. September 2023On October 9 and 10, members of the academic community of FMK TUB, i.e. students and staff – academics, will have the opportunity to significantly intervene in the affairs of the faculty by participating in the elections to the Academic Senate of FMK. The entire course of the elections is described in detail in the document Organizational instructions for ensuring the elections of members of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of the TUB in Zlín for the 2023-2026 election period.
FOR CANDIDATES
If you are a student, you run for and vote for the student chamber of AS FMK, if you are an academic, you run for and vote for the chamber of academic workers. Proposal tickets can be found in the annex to the Organizational Instructions for Elections, or in person at the dean’s secretariat (room U41/205, University 2431).
The completed and signed application form must be physically handed in to Mrs. Nikol Hřibová in room U41/205 (dean’s office, 1st floor of building U41). Candidate proposals are accepted from Monday 25/09/2023 from 10:00 a.m. to Monday 2/10/2023 until 12:00 p.m.
FOR VOTERS
On Monday, October 2, 2023 at 3 p.m., the electoral committee will publish the list of candidates on the faculty’s website. The pre-election meeting of the academic community of FMK will take place between 2 October and 6 October from 15:00 to 17:00 in room U41/201 (building U41).
At this assembly, the candidates listed on the list of candidates will have the opportunity to introduce their election program to the members of the FMK academic community and answer the questions of those present.
The polling place is the university building U4 at the address Univerzitní 2431, 760 01, 1st floor next to classroom no. 201, where it will be open during the election period, i.e. on Monday and Tuesday 9/10/2023 and 10/10/2023 always from 9 :00 to 15:00. Take your employee or student ID with you. The elections will end on 10/10/2023 at 15:00.
On October 9 and 10, you will all decide on 6 academics and 5 students, who will meet regularly in the faculty senate and strengthen, settle or correct relations with the management or the decisions of individual vice-deans’ departments.
The Commission will publish the results of the elections on the FMC official board no later than two working days after the last day of the elections, i.e. until 12/10/2023.
