Design KANTÝNA is going to the Design Ústí festival

How can you get started with universal design and accessibility? We will discuss this together on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the House of Arts in Ústí nad Labem with Anežka Řepík and Jitka Smolíková. On Wednesday, March 29, a workshop on Design thinking will take place. The lecture and the workshop will take place as part of the Design Ústí festival and under the auspices of the Design KANTYNA Zlin Design Week, the theme of which this year is universal design, in other words Design for all.

Design for all tries to include the widest possible group of people in the design. It is an approach that puts people and their diverse needs at the center. It is also the theme of this year’s Zlin Design Week festival and the project dedicated to Universal Design. We invite you to discuss how universal design can be perceived, how to use it in your proposals, when assigning projects or when thinking about new projects.

Escalators help not only those who are physically weaker, they relieve everyone. We will bring examples that show that design for everyone means a better life for everyone. We will discuss how you can get started with universal design and accessibility.
