Busfest 2023
13. March 2023Already on the 14th, the multi-genre music festival Busfest, organized by our students, will take place in Zlín. This year’s edition is scheduled for April 21, 2023 and will offer DJ sets and a band on three moving Zlín public transport buses. For one afternoon, the word ride acquires its transferred meaning.
The student festival Busfest will welcome spring in Zlín in its traditional style. Three performers turn three buses into mobile concerts. Busfest will thus offer its visitors a unique experience, performances on buses passing through the entire city.
“The Busfest team is trying to bring an experience that has no parallel in the Czech Republic to all participants. So that every visitor can find something for himself on its program, Busfest will once again bring multi-genre stages,” says festival manager Lukáš Faksa. This year, DJ sets by rapper Forgen and DJ Karlito, as well as the cabaret-punk band Franc Alpa, will take care of the multi-genre.
“What I like about the festival is that the genres are divided into individual buses and I can enjoy the concert up to three times”, comments Vašek, a longtime fan of the festival. That way, no one has to worry about losing their favorite. The program is also available outside the buses. The accompanying program, relaxation zone, good food and drink will create the right festival atmosphere and await everyone who catches their ticket, which is already available in the GoOut.
The main part of the festival takes place in the afternoon, but the Busfest team is clear that excited visitors will not want to sleep with the hens. An after-party is planned at the local club Star Club Flip in Zlín, where four more performers will present themselves and thus put an end to this year’s event.
