Mgr. Eva Gartnerová, PhD., is an assistant professor and the Head of the Department of Arts Management at the Faculty of Multimedia Communication, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, and serves as the manager of G18 gallery. Her scientific inquiries now focus on the field of audience engagement in museums and cultural institutions. She is active in the field of cultural and creative industries at the academic level, serving as a consultant and advisor in several international cultural, artistic, and development projects.

As a Fulbright Scholar, she conducted her research on audience engagement in university museums in the USA in 2021/2022. Dr. Gartnerová is a member of several international educational and research networks, such as ICOM, AAM, AAMG, UNIVERSEUM, ELIA, MUSEUM ASSOCIATION, and actively participates in international projects like INTERcost, Visegrad Funds, ERASMUS+, and Creative Europe. She was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship in 2021 to conduct her research on audience engagement in university art museums in the United States.

Additionally, in 2022, Dr. Gartnerová was part of the Young Aspen Leadership Program, further enhancing her leadership skills and industry connections. She also recently (2023) completed a research study visit to several university museums in Australia, broadening her international perspective and enriching her contributions to the field of arts management and cultural engagement.

Currently, she was awarded TAČR to explore the accessibility of Czech museums towards people with learning disorders.
