Mgr. Pavel Bednařík
Audiovisual Arts StudioPavel Bednarik is a film historian, curator, lecturer, consultant and journalist. At FMC TBU he teaches project management, local film history and elements of film culture for Erasmus students. Theoretical work aims at screen and audiovisual literacy, film and ideology and Zlin film culture and filmmaking tradition. As a head of Audiovisual Arts Studio he is responsible for domestic and internal relations, currently developing Studio strategy for near future. For many years he acts as local community and cultural event organiser in Zlin and Olomouc, where he lives. His post doc thesis is focused on examples of screen education strategies and initiatives in Europe. As a consultant he is part of Film Literacy Advisory Group runned by British Film Institute.
