The Culturea Festival Is Almost Here!
31. March 2021April is coming up fast and with it the ninth year of the Culturea festival, which is organized for you by students of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications. As every year, the festival will bring the culture of two completely different countries to Zlín through lectures by travelers, food tastings, and art exhibitions.
This year’s festival will be different from previous ones. It will take place for three days, specifically from April 9 to 11, 2021. The course of the festival itself will be different. The program will be divided into two parts, online and offline. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to get to know two countries in three days – either directly from the city of Zlín or from the comfort of their home.
This year’s countries are Poland and Iran. You will be able to experience these countries in various ways. For example, at the Zlín-based Prašád restaurant, you will have the opportunity to taste a menu full of Polish and Iranian specialties throughout the weekend. Of course, your other senses will not be left behind. There will also be art exhibitions at the Congress Centre and at the Kafec Zlínský and Jedním tahem cafés. You can find a map of all the places with exhibitions on this website. As a part of the online program, there will be movies, travellers speaking about their experiences, and even a 3D room with an art exhibition.
Not only can you travel without a flight ticket thanks to the festival, but you don’t even have to pay for the festival ticket either. Payment will be completely voluntary and the money raised will be used to organize next year’s edition of Culturea.
If you do not have plans for the second weekend of April yet, your problem seems to be solved now.
