Fashion Design Studio at the WORTH Partnership Project exhibition

Tomáš Maliňak, a first-year student of the Master’s degree in Fashion Design Studio, has achieved a significant success. His TAILORTECH project was selected as one of the winning projects of the third WORTH Partnership Project call. This prestigious project is supported by the European Union’s COSME programme and aims to connect designers, craftspeople, SMEs and technology innovators. The exhibition will take place from 8 to 13 April at Milan Design Week 2025.

TAILORTECH will be showcased at the WORTH Partnership Project Exhibition, which is organised as part of the COSME programme and is the highlight of Milan Design Week. The exhibition will offer a total of 69 projects that redefine fashion, design and sustainability. All the projects on display have been created thanks to the WORTH mentoring programme, which provides funding, professional support and networking opportunities to turn ideas into market-ready products.

Tomáš Maliňak will represent not only his own abilities and creativity, but also the quality of education and support for young talents at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. His project is proof that UTB students can compete internationally and contribute to development of the fashion and design industry.

The exhibition, which is the result of a collaboration with the global platform Isola Design, will take place at the ZONA K creative centre at Via Spalato 11 in Milan, with a grand opening on 8 April from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
