Design won’t wait! Nominate your work for the international Best in Design competition
3. February 2021After a year, the international competition Best in Design is back. You can register until February 28, 2021!
Already the 12th year of the international Best in Design competition offers young talents a unique opportunity to shine in the world of design. Those who are interested may compete in the following categories: Product & Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Communication Design. The awards are given both in the individual categories and within the entire competition – the artist who will be chosen by the jury as the most interesting will win the Absolute Winner of Best in Design 2021 title.
Whether an individual or a team enters the competition, they all have the opportunity to win a prize ranging from 200€ to1,500€ and also other prizes from our partners. But the financial reward is nothing compared with the amazing opportunities that the Best in Design competition offers.
This year’s fashion designs by young talents in the Fashion Design category will be evaluated by Tereza Rosálie Kladošová, a talented designer and the absolute winner of the 13th year of Czech Grand Design in the Production Design category. In the Production Design category, the judges will be Tescoma’s chief designer Ladislav Škoda and Richard Vodička, the director of Studio 519 – this studio designed products for the brands Ehoé and mmcité+. And in the Communication Design category, the work of contestants will be judged by the entrepreneur and co-founder of the award-winning Motionlab personalization video platform, Filip Koubek.
The conditions of participation are simple – the work must not be older than two years, it must be applied to Best in Design for the first time, and the authors must not be older than 30 years. The work must be registered by February 28, 2021.
The results of the competition will be announced within the Zlin Design Week festival, which will take place from 7th to 14th May 2021.
