#3 Build it UP! – NFT and art
3. April 2023The third Build it UP! workshop, organized by G18 Gallery and UPPER Center for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship, will be about NFT and art. We will meet at the G18 gallery, on Tuesday, April 11, from 4 p.m. again.
The third workshop will be led by Jan Zibner and Gabriela Borutová. Jan is co-founder and legal specialist at Artiffine. As a Ph.D. in IT/IP law focuses on licensing schemes, compliance and all legal agenda related to blockchain and NFTs, both internally, at Harvard NFT Task Force level or as a speaker. Gabriela Borutová is Sr. Program manager at Gen, and has been working in the field for over 10 years, focusing on brand and marketing. He is interested in issues of the metaverse, its application, community, and general connection to the web3. He is also interested in Metaverse fashion and branding or talent support. Gabriela is also the founder of NFT Insights, an educational association and platform for cultivating the web3 environment, and an active mentor within Femme Palette.
The series of five workshops focused on professional topics takes place from March to May 2023. Although the project is primarily intended for students of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, the participation of students from other faculties will be welcome. The aim of the project is, among other things, to expand students’ awareness of new and modern trends in technology development and digital marketplaces. The event is free, there is no need to report participation.
