11. November 2024Also in November, the G18 Gallery has prepared another lecture in the Let’s Talk Arts! series. This time, Jocelyne Prince will speak about her work as an artist on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 6 pm.
Light penetrates Darkness
How can glass turn light into a captivating visual experience? Artist and professor Jocelyne Prince’s talk will reveal how material, site specificity inform her work. Prince will share her experimental work with glass and how this fascination with the material is subsequently reflected in her Fulbright research project.
Jocelyne Prince is an artist and professor in the Glass Department at the Rhode Island School of Design, USA. Currently, thanks to a Fulbright scholarship, she is based in Zlín, where she works at the Glass Studio (FMK UTB).
The lecture is in English and admission is free.
