The winners of the 20th Edition of Graduation Projects

The 20th year of the Graduation Projects competition knows its winners. Among the thirty selected graduate projects from the Visegrad Group countries are also three graduates of our faculty – Zdeněk Pavelek, Tereza Kliglová and Michal Štalmach.

Tereza Kliglová (Graphic Design Studio) won an award for her bachelor’s thesis KUKO – she invented the 3D toy, its uniform visual style and packaging design.

Michal Štalmach (Industrial Design Studio) created in his bachelor’s thesis a design of a growing bicycle for children with an age range of 2 – 7 years, realized in cooperation with the company Devonic s.r.o.

Zdeněk Pavelek, a master’s graduate from the Digital Design studio, succeeded with his VR adventure, in which the player can immerse himself in a world full of buttons and twists, become a protector of the universe and stop the Evil Doctor Žabokachna from destroying everything.

The Graduation Projects competition annually awards graduates of art colleges from Central Europe: the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. He will then organize an exhibition of thirty selected projects – this year’s one will take place from March 11 in Těšín, Poland. More information about the competition can be found on its website.
